Bud`s Tavern in Louisville

This place is really clean. The ppl that work here maybe busy, but they are nice and are working their butts off. Will update about the food soon.

Good food and service

A couple friends and I really enjoyed a lunch here. Great prices & great food... I have no problem coming back to this tavern again.

First time here I'm from S.C. had the ribs they just got them off the grill I simply pulled the bones out and put the meat on a slice of toast ohhhhhhh so good

Delicious delicious delicious! Very good. Only complaint is the soup took very long to cool down, longer then soup would normally take. It was still very hot after 30 of receiving it.

They have really good food and drinks... The Grouper is delicious!

Great atmosphere , clean and plenty of waitresses , but kitchen help took advantage of Annies pizzas ..smh...stars are based on what i seen wen i walked in the door only.

This fish is I think the best on Dixie Highway. Not the best fries, but the fish and their tartar sauce is the best.

Ate lunch at Bud's and had the Bud Cheese burger and chips. I always enjoy the burger which is well cooked. Tender bun and dressed if you want it. Served with potato chips and pickle spear. Service was excellent as usual. Special was Lasagna with side salad and it looked tasty as my friend ate it all.Easy parking in back lot. Right now Dixie is under construction so you might want to use some back roads if possible. Google maps with traffic view can help determine congestion on Dixie.

Great place to grab a bite to eat and drink a cold one! Atmosphere is nice and cozy and the hospitality is incredible! Thanks so much for all your kindness Butch!

The fish was delicious, as usual. The service left something to be desired. It's hit or miss, we will definitely go back.

As always awesome, big portions of everything you order, I got 1/2 slab bigger with more great Smokey fresh meat then anywhere else I've been... Fries are fries but with their sauces is the game changer, baked beans wonderful.......

Food and service was great, but its very loud, even before the one man band started playing. I always get fish and onion rings, they are always super fresh and delicious. If you don't mind the noise, Bud's is the place for a great fish sandwich.

It wasn't the staff, but I experienced racism there, which was very uncomfortable. I think a establishment is just as responsible for their customers actions.

Food was amazing but service was lacking. Was not greeted by waitress. Waitress never asked if we needed refills or checked back after our food was delivered. Had to ask someone else 30 min after we served for boxes and for check. After we paid and was leaving she never acknowledged us but all of the other staff was delightful. Will return with a chance she was having a miserable day.

The food was spectacular! 5 cheese burger (grilled cheese as the bun) was so yummy. Fried green tomatoes were amazing.

This place is amazing. My sister was diagnosed with stage four cancer when she was four years old and through everything, these people have been there for us no matter what. I can't put into words how amazing the people that associate with that place are.

It is the best place to eat on Dixie! For many years, Bud's has offered good bar food and cold beer at good prices. We love taking out of town visitors there. They have good music on Fridays, too.

Best wings in town. Ill take the Pepsi challenge any day.

My first experience there with a friend. Everyone was friendly. The service was great. It was a clean place to eat. And the food was delicious.

Buds is fabulous! I haven't had anything there that isn't good. Plus live music is nice too.

Great small Tavern atmosphere. The bartender was super friendly and super sweet and the food was delicious and affordable. This was my second time here but definitely won't be my last.

Cravings fish last night, my man wanted a burger. Buds was the only place to go. My plan was to eat 1/2 & take the rest for lunch next day - didn't work out. I couldn't stop eating that fish and the tarter sauce was to die for. Great food.

Always a good time there. It's a easy place to fit in. Just wish they weren't so stingy with there liquor. Got a Jack an coke. Small cup and Jack was nowhere to be found.

I always have an amazing experience here. Staff, always very nice and friendly. The speed of service is great. Not the mention, the food, is delicious. Today, the smoked wings were 100% fantastic!The ribs, couldve had more flavor. Overall, very flavorless. Having to rely/depend on the sauce, wasnt enough. The bite with sauce, starts off wet, but finishes flavorless and dry.Sides, good portion and pretty decent.

Went here for lunch today, first time eating here but definitely not the last! The country fried steak was great! The people that I was with couldn't stop talking about the burger and the fried bologna sandwich.

Visited this place for the 1st time and was very happy with the outcome. The staff was very friendly and inviting and the food was delicious! Fried Green Beans for an appetizer, was the way to go with one of the best fish sandwiches I have had in a long time. And to top it all off, the beer was nice and cold. Will definitely be back!

We love their wings, best wings on Dixie for sure. Their waitress Heather is amazing! We always ask for her. Awesome atmosphere and delicious food. They have great customer service, even when busy.

I ordered the fish fingers basket. Our waitress was Rachael and as always she greeted us with her great smile. The fish was some of the best I've had and came with plenty of crinkle fries and Cole slaw. When I'm ready for fish, I'll be going to Bud's. They have lunch specials everyday.

What do they say, don't judge something from the outside? I couldn't tell you how many times I have driven by this place and never stopped in. The food was good, and you get a lot for your money.
